I attended the Conservatory of Music at University of Missouri at Kansas City. I graduated with a degree in Violin Performance.
After college, I spent the next five years studying how to teach the Suzuki Method with registered Suzuki teacher trainers.
I have been a member of both the Independence and Lee's Summit Symphony Orchestras for several years.
SUZUKI TRAINING
I completed five years of Long-Term Teacher Training with Suzuki teacher trainers Jean Dexter and Alice Joy Lewis.
I also completed Short-Term Teacher Training units of Pre-Twinkle through Suzuki Book 5 for violin.
Since 1982, I have been a member of the Suzuki Associaion of the Americas and our local SAA affliate organization, Heart of America Suzuki Association.
